surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the said steward about 10a of customary land with appurtenances parcel of
Lowefield
as it is divided by a hedge and ditch from 6a of land parcel of the said land called
Lowefield
which same said 6a of land are lying on the south part of the said 10a of land to the use and behoof of the said
Rich Harlakenden
esq lord of the said manor his heirs and assigns as by copy of a roll of the said court is clearly shown now at this court the said lord in court in person granted from his hands the said 10a of land with appurtenances to
Roger Harlakenden
gentleman second son of the said
Rich Harlakenden
and the heirs and assigns of the said
Roger
and by the said steward delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have the said 10a of land to the said
Roger Harlakenden
his heirs and assigns forever with however the intention that the said
Roger Harlakenden
his heirs and assigns should allow

wife of the said
Rich Harlakenden
if the said
Margt
should outlive the said
Rich Harlakenden
to have and enjoy all and singular the rents profits and emoluments of the said 10a of land for the lifetime of the said

as the sole and proper use of the said

and the assigns of the said

before this to give to
Margt
or to her use of and in certain lands and tenements of the said
Rich Harlakenden
to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord by fealty suit of court and the rent of 10s per annum and by all other services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and for such grants and

gave to the lord for a fine etc
