at this court it is shown by the homage that Jn Church gentleman after the last court and before this court viz 20.6.1631 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Read instead of the bailiff in the presence of Barth Clarke and Jn Clarke two customary tenants of the said manor the same testifying according to the custom of the said manor one piece or parcel of meadow now divided into two separately acknowledged and called by the name of Stonebridge Meadow alias Little Bridge Meadow containing by estimation about 1a1r of land to the use and behoof of Jn Little junior son of Jn Little gentleman and the heirs of Jn Little junior forever who present here in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have to himself and his heirs forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty to the lord and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord
