fine 43sat a court here held 7.1.1608 5Jas1 Robt Arminall also Miller and Margt his wife lately dead were admitted tenants for themselves and the heirs of the said Robt to one cottage or customary tenement as it adjoins to a certain capital messuage called Masons containing in length 16f and breadth 17f according as is clearly showed by the said court roll here in this document now at this court it is shown by the homage that the said Robt Arminall also Miller after the last court and before this court viz one 27.10.1631 surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Thos Pannell also Meller instead of the bailiff in the presence of Wm Addams and Dan Lea two customary tenants of the said manor according to the custom of the manor all that cottage or tenement with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Robt Carter and his heirs forever whereupon Robt Carter aforesaid came into court and humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by his said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have the said cottage with appurtenances to the said Robt Carter and his heirs forever and to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the manor aforesaid by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty and was admitted tenant
