whereas at a view of frankpledge with court baron here held 4.6.1628 Clem Turner and Edith his wife were admitted tenants of the lord for themselves and the heirs of the said Clem to one messuage or cottage called Humfreyes and whereas at a court here held 16.2.1631 Mary Nevill of Pebmarsh was admitted for herself and her heirs to the said messuage or cottage with appurtenances by the surrender of the said Clem Turner and whereas at a court here held 3.1.1637 before the date of this court it was shown by the homage that the said Mary Nevill surrendered into the hands of the lord the said messuage or cottage with appurtenances to the use and behoof of the said Clem Turner and his heirs and assigns forever as is clearly shown by the court roll now to this court came the said Clem Turner and humbly sought admittance to the said messuage or cottage with appurtenances to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said messuage or cottage with appurtenances to himself and his heirs forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine etc
