and furthermore whereas at a court here held 27.12.1638 it was shown by the homage that Jn Bounds who held to himself and his heirs one cottage orchard and garden with appurtenances called Stacyes as is shown by the court roll dated 16.10.1633 it is clearly shown that after the last court and before the said court he died seised thereof and that Sam Bounds is his son and next heir as is shown by the said court roll now to this court comes the said Sam Boundes and humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said cottage and premises with appurtenances to the said Sam Boundes his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and was admitted tenant
