at this court it was presented that Thos Harlakenden gentleman who held to him and his heirs the fourth part of a meadow with the appurtenances called Pakesgate Meadow as by the roll of the court held for the said manor 30.12.last it appeareth since the last court died of the said fourth part so seised and that Dorothy Harlakenden of the age of 2yrs or thereabouts and Alicia Harlakenden of the age of 1yr or thereabouts are his daughters and coheirs to which said Dorothy and Alicia by the hands of Wm Harlakenden esq their uncle and in this behalf their deputy the lord of the said manor by his said steward did grant and deliver thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said fourth part of the said meadow with the appurtenances to the said Dorothy and Alicia and their heirs in coparcenary of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs formerly due and of right accustomed and they gave to the lord for a fine but their fealty is respited until etc and because the said Dorothy and Alicia are within age as aforesaid therefore the custody of the bodies of the said Dorothy and Alicia and of the said tenements is by the lord committed and granted to Alicia Harlakenden widow their mother until the said daughters shall respectively attain their full age of twenty one years rendering of the rents and profits thereof a true account to the said daughters at their said ages and for the custody she gave to the lord for a fine
