Sigismund Baker to a messuage parcel of Morses | whereas at a court held for the said manor 2.11.1652 it was presented by the homage that Mary the wife of Antho Baker who held for the term of her life one customary messuage or tenement late in the occupation of Thos Richmond and now of Thos Manninge the remainder thereof to Sigismond Baker her son and his heirs belonging died thereof so seized now at this court the said Sigismond did come and humbly prayed to be admitted tenant to the same to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward did grant and deliver thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said messuage with the appurtenances to the said Sigismund Baker his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs due and of right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine and did his fealty |
