at this court Hen Abbott a customary tenant of this manor and of the manor of Colne Priory did come and desired licence of the lord of this said manor being present in court to devise and let to farm certain lands called Husses and The Fenn held by copy of court roll of the manor of Earls Colne and certain land called Sedcopps and Panscroft or otherwise held by copy of court roll of the manor of Colne Priory for the term of three years from the feast of michaelmas last past and the lord in his own person did grant him licence accordingly and the said Hen Abbott gave to the lord in court for a fine 3s
