whereas at a court here held 23.7.1650 Jn Somerson in full court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the said steward the reversion to one messuage or tenement with garden and part of a well with appurtenances when it shall happen by the death of Kath Somerson widow who held the premises for her lifetime to the use and behoof of Ann Faucett and Mary Faucett and their heirs forever now at this court it was presented by the homage that the said Ann afterwards and before this court died and that Mary now wife of Jas Prior herself survives and that the said Kath before this court died upon which came here into court the said Mary by the said Jas her husband and in the part of her attorney and deputy and humbly sought admittance as tenant of the lord to the said messuage or tenement garden and part of the said well to whom the same Mary by the hands of her said attorney and deputy the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the said messuage or tenement garden and part of the well with appurtenances to the said Mary her heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and the said Jas gave to the lord for a fine for the said Mary and thus was admitted tenant thereof
