whereas at a court here held 8.1.1645 Robt Andrewes and Eliz his wife took for themselves by copy of court roll for their lifetimes and for the longer liver one parcel of land containing by estimation 4p with a tenement built thereon parcel of a tenement called Firman Tylers with an orchard and appurtenances which Joan Gilott had by the surrender of Peter Gilott the remainder thereof to Susan Andrewes daughter of the said Robt and Eliz and afterwards wife of Geo Lawrence and the heirs of the body of the said Susan legitimately procreated and in default of such heirs the remainder thereof to Wm Andrewes son of the said Robt and Eliz and the heirs of the said Wm forever according to the tenor and effect of the testament and last will of the said Joan Gilott bearing the date 9.8.1639 now at this court it was presented by the homage that the said Robt and Eliz afterwards and before this court died and that the said Susan died and that Jn Lawrence (sic) junior is her son and heir of her body legitimately procreated upon which came into court the said Geo Lawrence (sic) junior by the said Geo Lawrence his father and in the part of his attorney and deputy and humbly sought admittance as tenant of the lord for the premises to whom the same Geo Lawrence junior by the hands of his said attorney and deputy the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the said tenement and parcel of land with appurtenances to the said Geo Lawrence junior and the heirs of his body legitimately procreated from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine
