at this court it appeared to the homage that Giles Crow who held to him and his heirs by copy of court roll dated 16.1.1655 one cottage or tenement and garden adjoining with appurtenances situate in Holt Street alias Brook Street now in the tenure of Jas Ward on 2.1.last he surrendered the premises by the rod to the lord by the hands of Mich Hayward instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Shillitoe and Adam Brewer two customary tenants etc to the use of Jn Huske his heirs and assigns forever who present here in court humbly petitioned admittance etc to whom the steward delivered seisin to have and to hold the cottage aforesaid etc to the said Jn Huske his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc
