at the last court here held the 8.4.last past Isaac Potter and Wm Chapman were admitted to them and to their successors as churchwardens of Earls Colne church and overseers of the poor of Earls Colne to one cottage with appurtenances situate in Earls Colne then or now late in occupation of Jn Bullock by the devising security and intentions in the last will of Eliz Rogers expressed now at this court appears to homage that Isaac Potter and Jn Brewster churchwardens for Earls Colne and Wm Chapman overseer of the poor of Earls Colne the 29.9.1712 surrendered into had of lord by hand of Sam Burton in place of the bailiff in presence of Hen Adams junior and Wm Boosby two customary tenants etc the said premises with appurtenances to sole and proper use of Jn Cooke of Earls Colne yeoman his heirs and assigns forever which Jn Cooke present here in court humbly petitions etc admitted to premises etc made his fealty
