fine 4d | at this court Jn Turnor surrendered into the hands of the lord one chaseway in Berecroft according as it is situated there and as used according to custom to the use of Robt Segge and Wm Ate Wode to whom the lord granted thereof seisin to hold to the same at the will of the lord by services and customs saving the rights etc upon this authority and custom that if the said Wm and Robt or their heirs by the said Jn Turnor or by his heirs should be debarred from the aforesaid chaseway and their beasts driven off then the aforesaid Robt and Wm should be allowed to reenter and go into one piece of garden containing 10p which the same said Jn had of the same said Robt and Wm and to retain their former estate etc this surrender in court not withstanding and upon this they gave to the lord for a fine as shown and made fealty |
