two cottages messuage croft etc Mordens Walnuttecrofte fine 3s4d to this court came Jn Estaie and Margt his wife and the same Margt alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward surrendered into the lord's hands two cottages customary with the appurtenances lying in Colne aforesaid sometime Wm Atte Woods late Jeff Buckwells since Nich Moores one messuage sometime Jn Humfreis one croft of land called Wallnuttecrofte one tenement called Mordens one tenement called Firmantilers to the intent that the lord so seised might regrant the said two cottages the messuages croft of land and two tenements with the appurtenances to the foresaid Jn Estaie and Margt his wife and their heirs and the lord by virtue of the surrender aforesaid of the premises so seised at this same court by his steward regranted out of his hands the said two cottages messuages and other the premises with the appurtenances to the foresaid Jn Estaie and Margt his wife and Thos Rolf and their heirs to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the ancient rents and services and they give fine as appeareth in the head and made fealty
