Mordons | fine 12d it is found by the homage that Robt Baker and Joan his wife and the same Joan alone and secretly examined by Jn Veer knight the lord's head steward out of the court since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands viz the foresaid Robt by the hands of Jn Sparrowe deputy bailiff in the presence of Rich Garard the lord's tenant and others the same witnessing and the foresaid Joan by the hands of the foresaid Jn Veer knight one tenement customary with the appurtenances called Mordons in Colne aforesaid to the use of Jas Potter and his heirs to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him and Jn Woods and their heirs and assigns to the use of the said Jas Potter and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc by the ancient rents and services to the lord due and accustomed and they give fine and made fealty |
