fine 12d copy deliveredit appears to the homage that Jas Potter out of court and after the last court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Woode and Thos Roote tenants of the lord the same witnessing one customary tenement with appurtenances called Mordens lying in Colne aforesaid to the use of Wm Orvis his heirs and assigns who present in court came and petitioned admittance and because it is found by the homage therefore he is admitted tenant of the lord to whom by the lord seisin is delivered to hold to Jn Tilwicke and Thos Roote their heirs and assigns to the use of the said Wm Orvis and his heirs and assigns by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by ancient rents and services before owed and by right accustomed and gave the lord a fine and made fealty
