Borrowes and Stoneleigh Xfine 5s and it is found by the homage that Eliz Wingfield widow late the wife of Walt Wingfield esq deceased Hen Markham esq Thos Tyrrell gentleman and Jn Matteras were seised in their demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor of and in one tenement customary called Borrowes containing 6a of land with the appurtenances and of and in one customary croft of land with the appurtenances called Litle Borowes and also one croft of land called Stoneleigh to the use of the foresaid Eliz for the term of her life and after her decease to the use of the heirs and assigns of the foresaid Walt as in the roll of the court here holden on tuesday next before the feast of the checked with st edw king and martyr in the 5Hen8 14.2.1514 more at large appeareth and the foresaid Eliz and Jn Matteras died so seised after whose death the foresaid Hen and Thos were seised and yet be in their demesne as of fee of and in the premises to the use of Jn Wingfield son and heir of the foresaid Walt and his heirs and that the same Jn Wingfield is of the age of 21yr and more who being present in the court craveth that the foresaid Hen and Thos and their heirs might still stand so seised of and in the foresaid tenement and other the premises with the appurtenances to the use of the said Jn Wingfield and his heirs and the petition of the said Jn Wingfield is granted by the lord's head steward doing and yielding to the lord the rents services and customs therefore before due and accustomed and the same Jn Wingfield giveth fine for such use thereof to be had and made fealty
