purpresture Xfine 2s to this court came Jn Attewood and surrendered into the lord's hands one purpresture of land sometime Kath Prudman's since Wm Oldhall's and late Thos Brett's and with one cartway parcel of the Tolehouse now builded on and one ditch there sometime Jn Mendham's and late the said Thos Brett's and also surrendered into the lord's hands one cartway leading from the highway over against the Stone Cross in Colne aforesaid for a gate to be had to the gate late Thos Brett's deceased and also surrendered into the lord's hands one tenement or cottage with a garden adjoining with the appurtenances called Goolds situate and lying in Colne aforesaid late the said Thos Brett's deceased to the use and behoof of Jn Reve and Agnes his wife daughter of the foresaid Jn Wood their heirs and assigns which Jn Reve present in the court came and craved himself and the foresaid Agnes his wife to be admitted thereunto and they are admitted the lord's tenants thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and they give fine etc and made fealty
