showed not the copies what right she entered and occupied the said croft of land with the appurtenances after the death of the said

her brother deceased to this court came the foresaid

widow and in the full court brought forth a certain copy bearing date on
tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 13Hen7 5.6.1498
by which it appears that one

surrendered into the lord's hands the foresaid croft of land with the appurtenances to the use and behoof of

his wife

his heirs and assigns and hereupon the foresaid

being present in the court came and craved to be admitted to the foresaid croft of land as sister and next heir of the foresaid

deceased and because the court it certified by the homage that the foresaid
Jn Wyngefield
in his life took and received to his proper use and commodity the issues and profits of the foresaid croft of land with the appurtenances therefore the lord of his special favour granted out of his hands to the foresaid

the foresaid croft of land with the appurtenances to hold to her her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc by services before accustomed and she giveth fine as well for herself as for her brother the foresaid
