fine 10s it is found by the homage that Thos Polley out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Thos Peerson (Robt Peerson ) in the presence of Adam Polley and Lewice Jegon the lord's tenants the same witnessing one tenement with a curtilage adjoining called Greens Tenement in Colne aforesaid as by the meets and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Barth Churche his heirs and assigns etc on condition following viz that if the foresaid Thos Polley his heirs executors administrators pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid Barth Church his executors or administrator at his now dwelling house in Colne aforesaid 8li of good and lawful money of England at the annunciation.1571 and if the foresaid Thos his heirs and executors or one of them shall sustain all and all manner of reparations to the said tenement belonging during the term aforesaid and also if the foresaid Thos his heirs and executors or one of them pay or cause to be paid all and all manner of rents to the lord due and of right accustomed during the foresaid term that then this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered shall be void and of no force in the law this present surrender in anything notwithstanding which Barth being present in the court came and prayed according to the surrender aforesaid to be admitted to the premises to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
