fine 20sit is found by the homage that the said Thos Sansome that held to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc one customary messuage with a barn and garden adjoining with appurtenances called Joldens as in the rolls of the court here held on monday being 1.10.13Eliz1 more at large appears surrendered the foresaid messuage and other the premises with appurtenances into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Peerson the lord's tenant and in the presence of Robt Reade likewise the lord's customary tenant and other credible persons the same witnessing to the use and behoof of Jn Archer his heirs and assigns which Jn by     Cockshall his attorney being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the hands of the said attorney by the lord's steward because it is so found by the homage there is seisin thereof del ivered by the rod to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
