surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of

instead of the bailiff and in the presence of
Robt Reade
and
Wm Bunner
the lord's customary tenants and other the same witnessing the foresaid garden and barn with appurtenances to the use and behoof of
Jn Scydaie
his heirs and assigns and because the said

nor any other for him or in his name came to the foresaid last court to take the premises out of the lord's hands and pay the lord his fine for the same the premises remained in the lord's hands until now to this court came the foresaid

and humbly craved to be admitted to the foresaid barn and garden with appurtenances to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc
