    it is found by the homage that Jn Lemmington alias Bailiff that held to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc two parcels of the customary land late parcel of the customary lands called Chewnies Land containing by estimation 8a of land more or less as etc as by copy of court roll here holden 8.10.19Eliz1 more at large appears died since the last court and before his death lying in his death bed surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Reade instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Parker the lord's customary tenant and other the same witnessing the foresaid two parcels of land to the use and behoof of Helen his wife for term of her life to remain after her decease to Thos Lemington alias Bailiffe his son and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor on condition that the foresaid Thos pay or cause to be paid to every of the sons and daughters of the said Jn Lemington alias Bailiff 5li of good and lawful money of England at their full age and it is further found that the foresaid Helen is also dead whereupon now came the foresaid Thos the son and humbly prayed to be admitted to the premises according to the form and effect of the surrender and condition aforesaid to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc
