it is found by the homage that Edw Wade that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc one parcel of customary land called Bettingsland with the appurtenances out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Edw Reade instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Reade and Jn Leffingwell the lord's customary tenants and other the same witnessing all the foresaid parcel of land called Bettingsland with the appurtenances to the use and behoof of Roger Harlakenden lord of this manor and his heirs and assigns forever therefore the bailiff of this manor is to be discharged from the rent of the premises upon his account hereafter
