to this court came Thos Smithe and Thos Smithe his son in their proper persons and showed four copies made out of the court roll of this manor of the 28Eliz1 the 27Eliz1 and 26Eliz1 and 23Hen6 by which they claim to hold to them and the heirs of the said Thos Smith the son by virtue of the surrender and release of Geo Hassette and Alice his wife and sometime of Jn Litle one well with a certain way leading to the same well late reserved to Rich Prentice and now annexed to the said tenement and was sometime of Robt Jenkinson and once of Jn Avery Steph Smithe Robt Audeley Ralph Keble and Wm Melion of the surrender of Clemens that was the wife of Thos Mors and of Jn Payne and Jn Turnor by fealty suit of court and rent of by the year etc
