it is found in the court with the leet of 26Eliz1 that Wm Prentice son and heir of Jn Prentice holdeth of the lord freely by deed as of this manor one tenement with a garden adjoining called Cullewes lying near the capital messuage late of Jn Barrette deceased and the same Wm being now required came by Thos Turner his attorney and prayed day until the next court to acknowledge etc and he hath it etc
