situate and lying in Earls Colne as by copy of the roll of the same court brought and shown here in court at large appeareth now the homage aforesaid present that since the last and out of this court the foresaid

surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of
Jn Tyffen
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Jn Churche
and
Robt Reade
two customary tenants of the same manor according to the custom of the manor aforesaid the foresaid messuage with appurtenances to the use and behoof of his last will the tenor whereof concerning the same followeth in these words imprimis I give and bequeath to

my daughter one tenement called
Humfries
with the yard thereunto belonging and to her heirs forever and I will that she shall pay out of the said tenement for my daughter

or her assigns within two years after my decease the sum of 20s of lawful money etc as by the will aforesaid brought forth and shown in this court under the seal of the ordinary of the same place appeareth to which
