at this court the lord present in court by his steward for certain good considerations him moving granted out of his hands to Wm Cawche and his heirs a cottage with a parcel of land once of the waste of this manor on Colne Green to hold by fealty suit of court and an annual rent of 12d at the usual terms of the manor which Wm by Margt his wife and deputy to have and to hold in form aforesaid and afterwards here came Robt Reade in his proper person and surrendered all and singular the premises with appurtenances and all his right title and interest of and in the premises to the work and use of the said Wm Cawche and his heirs
