three he hath many times heard the complainant Rose complain and seem to find herself much grieved about the wrong and prejudice done unto her as she said in her inheritance of her copyhold messuage lands and tenements holden of the said manors by false entries made in the court rolls of the said manors as she hath alleged but this deponent saith he hath not heard either the now defendant Rich Harlakenden or his said late father Roger Harlakenden promise the said complainant Rose that any false entries in the said court rolls should be amended as in the said interrogatory is enquired of neither hath this deponent at any time to his now remembrance heard any manner of conference between the said complainant Rose and the said defendant Rich Harlakenden or the said Roger his late father to such or the like purpose
