ten that at the time aforesaid Prudence Lunt one of the complainants in this suit in this deponent's hearing did most humbly desire the said Rose her love and good will further entreating the said Rose being her mother to be pleased to give her the said Prudence and her husband Lunt the other complainant in this suit some recompense or consideration for her part of the said copyhold premises late the said Jeff Cuckoe's her late deceased father's whereunto this deponent saith that the said Rose answered that she would give her the said Prudence the sum of 10li for her part of the said premises so that the said Prudence would put in an easy answer to her bill which she the said Rose had put into this honourable court against one Harlakenden and the said Prudence touching the said copyhold premises
