know all men present and future that I Rich Bonyer of Colne Wake in the county of Essex husbandman for a certain sum of money to me by the right honourable Jn Veer earl of Oxford faithfully by payment in full in advance have given granted and by this my present charter confirmed to Thos Tey of Leir Delhay in the county aforesaid esq Jn Seynteler gentleman son and heir apparent of Jn Seynteler knight and to Jn Tey gentleman son and heir apparent of the before named Thos Tey two crofts of arable land with their appurtenances in Earls Colne aforesaid whereof one croft of my land lies between the land of the prior and convent of Earls Colne aforesaid on the one side and the land sometime of Jn Bonyle chaplain on the other side one head thereof abutteth upon land of the aforesaid prior and convent the other head of the same upon the land sometime of Jn Stoke and the other croft of the said two crofts of my land lies between the land sometime of Jn Werkman on the one side and the land sometime of Jn Bonyle on the other side one head thereof abutteth upon the land sometime of the same Jn Bonyle and the other head thereof upon the land of the aforesaid prior and convent of Earls Colne aforesaid which said two crofts of land with the appurtenances descended to me the aforesaid Rich Bonyar after whose death hereditary right descended to Robt Bonyer my father namely and the sons and heirs of the same Robt and to descend by due to have and to hold the aforesaid two crofts of arable land with all and singular their appurtenances to the aforesaid Thos Tey Jn Seynteler and Jn Tey their heirs and assigns chief lords of the fee for service therefore due and of right accustomed always to the use and behoof by the aforesaid earl and his heirs and assigns forever and verily I the afore mentioned Rich Bonyer and my heirs will warrant the aforesaid two crofts of arable land with their appurtenances and anything then parcel to the aforementioned Thos Tey Jn Seynteler and Jn Tey their heirs and assigns to the use and behoof of the above specified against all persons forever and defend by these presents in witness whereof to this my present charter I have put my seal given at Earls Colne aforesaid =.1.27Hen8
