know present and future that we Wm Parker of Colne Engayne Jn Bayle miller and Wm Baker of Earls Colne do demise grant and by this present deed rightly confirm to Steph Bagruk of Earls Colne aforesaid Jn Keme Robt Awdele of the same (Earls Colne) Wm Thurkeld Wm Carter of Colne Engayne and Jn Poter of White Colne one croft of arable land situate in Earls Colne aforesaid (390) viz between the king's highway leading from Colne aforesaid towards Cogishale on the one side and land called Litlereycroft on the other side one head thereof abutting upon land called Mochelreycroft as indeed the croft of land late of the gift and grant of Thos Sorell Ralph Kebbyll and Jn Tredgold glasier to have and to hold the said croft of land with all and singular its appurtenances to the afores aid Steph Bagruk Jn Keme Robt Awdele Wm Thurkeld Wm Carter and Jn Poter their heirs and assigns forever of the chief lords fee there by services then owed and of right accustomed and I the aforesaid Wm Parker and my heirs shall warrant the aforesaid croft with its appurtenances to the aforesaid Steph Bagruk Jn Keme Robt Awdele Wm Thurkeld Wm Carter and Jn Poter their heirs and assigns against all people forever in witness whereof to this present deed we do set our seals with these witnesses Ralph Awdele Wm Kerewyn Jn Turnor Jn Smyth Wm Hawk and others given at Earls Colne aforesaid on the feast of corpus christi 16.6.8Edw4
