whereas at a court here held monday being 16.6.1595 Rich Haynes was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs by and after the death of Nich Haynes his father deceased to one half of a croft of land sometime of Jn Bridge lying upon Collforde Hill as by copy of a roll of that court here in this full court it is clearly shown and whereas also at a court here held tuesday being 30.9.1606 the said Rich Haynes was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs by and after the death of Agnes Haynes widow his mother deceased to the other half of the said croft of land as by a copy of a roll of that same court here in full court is clearly shown now at this court it is shown by the homage of this court that the aforesaid Rich Haynes out of this court and after the last court surrendered the aforesaid croft of land sometime of Jn Bridge into the hands of the lord by the hands of Robt Cobbe instead of the bailiff in the presence of Xoph Isaacke and Hen Abbotte senior customary tenants of this manor the same testifying according to the custom of the said manor to the use and behoof of Jn Pierson and his heirs forever who the same said Jn Pierson present here in court sought admittance thereof to whom the lord by his said steward granted thereof seisin to have to the same said Jn Pierson and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of this said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin and made fealty to the lord and was admitted there of tenant of the lord
