and also into this court the court sitting came the aforesaid Margt and Hugh Potter her husband Ann and Jn Kent her husband and the aforesaid Jane and Thos Machin her husband the aforesaid wives separately secretly and legitimately examined and acknowledged by the said steward according to the custom of the said manor and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his said steward all and singular their right and interest which each or any of them have in the lands called Gosses with appurtenances or any part thereof held by copy of a roll of the same court to the use and behoof of Agnes Bullock the heirs and assigns of Agnes herself forever upon which at this court the lord of the said manor by the hands of his said steward granted to the aforesaid Agnes seisin of the said premises with appurtenances to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord her fine and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord now also to this court came the aforesaid Agnes Bullock and Jn Bullock her husband Agnes herself solely and secretly examined and acknowledged by the said steward according to the custom of the said manor and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his said steward the said lands called Gosses with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Agnes herself for the term of her natural lifetime and after her decease the remainder thereof to Jn Bullock son of the said Agnes and Jn and the heirs of the body of Jn himself the son legitimately procreated or to be procreated and in default of such heirs then the remainder thereof to the next heirs of Jn himself forever upon which at this court the lord of the said manor by his said steward granted to them seisin thereof to have to them in the manner and form as stated to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord their fine for their separate estates and the aforesaid Agnes in person was admitted thereof tenant and also the aforesaid Jn Bullock the son by Jn Bullock the father and his attorney in this part was admitted thereof tenant of the lord the fealty however of the said Jn the son was respited until etc
