a parcel of Sebrights | it is shown by the homage that Thos Allen before this court and after the last court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Read instead of the bailiff in the presence of Edw Browne and Barth Clarke two customary tenants the same testifying according to the custom of the said manor one cottage or tenement newly built upon a parcel of a curtilage sometime of Thos Manne and Eliz his wife with a garden adjoining to the same cottage and a parcel of a well being in the same curtilage which same said premises the aforesaid Thos Allen took for himself and his heirs at a court held for the said manor 28.4.1614 to the use and behoof of Marian Tyler widow for and during her lifetime the remainder thereof after her decease to Jn Munt her son and the heirs of the aforesaid Jn forever to whom the same said Marian and Jn the lord by his said steward granted seisin thereof by the rod to have to the aforesaid Marian for and during her natural lifetime the remainder thereof after her death to the said Jn Munt his heirs and assigns forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents customs and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and the aforesaid Marian and Jn made fine and fealty to the lord and were admitted in the said form tenants etc |
