and furthermore at a court here held 19.12.1609 Thos Harvey was admitted tenant of the lord to himself and his heirs at the will of the lord to one parcel of waste of this manor and to one cottage lately built on the said parcel of waste containing in length 28y of land and in width to one head 10y and to the other head 9y and a half and abutting at the one head towards the north and at the other towards the south according as it is clearly shown by the said court roll and now it is shown by the homage that the said Thos Harvey after the last court and before this court viz 28.5.1632 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Edw Clarke instead of the bailiff in the presence of Wm Adams and Jn Griggs two customary tenants of the said manor according to the custom of the said manor the said cottage and other premises with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Thos Harvey junior and his heirs forever who present here in the court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by his said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have to himself and his heirs forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rent of 6d at the usual terms etc and by all other services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty and was admitted tenant
