and furthermore whereas at the said court the lord granted from his hands one parcel of waste lying next to the said tenement called Oldhall containing about 1r according as it is enclosed with a hedge and ditch to the said Rich Kempe and his heirs forever according as is clearly shown by the said court roll now at this court it is shown by the homage that the said Rich Kempe after the last court and before this court viz 27.12.1636 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Edw Clarke instead of the bailiff in the presence of the said Edw Cressener and Jn Read two customary tenants of the said manor according to the customs of the said manor the said parcel of waste with appurtenances and other premises to the use and behoof of the said Thos Osborne and his heirs forever who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the said steward granted the said parcel of waste with appurtenances and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have to himself and his heirs forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty and was admitted tenant
