whereas at a court here held 22.4.1669 Geo Potter was admitted to him and his heirs to one tenement called Mordens alias Crossend with yards gardens and orchards and a pump and the backhouse kiln and kiln house parcel of Jouldens except all that part which he had surrendered to Barth Clarke and his heirs and assigns which premises Edw Potter late father of the said Geo had of the surrender of Rich Rookes and the said Geo at a court here held 2.1.1667 was admitted to him and his heirs to 3r of meadow more or less with appurtenances in a certain meadow called Noakes and Burrowes now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said Geo Potter died after the last court so seised and that Edw Potter is his brother and heir who present in court humbly petitioned admittance to whom by the steward there is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold the said tenement and meadow with appurtenances to the said Edw Potter his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc
