Cowhouse and Stable | fine 12d it is found by the homage that Robt Bieston who held jointly with Nich Moore and Walt Tidder now deceased to them and their heirs according to the custom of the manor to the use of the said Robt Bieston one house called the Stable with the Cowhouse and one tenement builded and one garden parcel of the tenement sometime Robt Mathewes and after Thos Prynces as the said Stable with the Cowhouse and garden are situate and lying between the tenement late Jn Bonjohns alias Turnor etc and the tenement late Robt Lytmans of the other part and a certain parcel of Berecrofte of the other part with a way late parcel of Beerecroft with free ingress and egress to carry drive and recarry etc as in the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 12Hen7 16.5.1497 more plainly appears the said Robt Bieston died before the last court of and in the foresaid house called the Stable and Cowhouse the tenement builded and garden with the appurtenances sole seised in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and they say further that Jn Bieston is son and heir of the said Robt Bieston and of full age who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted and because it is so found therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will etc and he giveth fine and made fealty |
