the lord's customary tenants the same witnessing one barn with a garden adjoining with the appurtenances called
Pannells
to the use and behoof of
Rich Sigge
his heirs and assigns on condition following viz that the foresaid
Rich Sigge
or his certain attorney his executors or administrators pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid
Robt Walshe
his heirs executors or administrators at the now dwelling house of
Joan Turnor
widow in Earls Colne aforesaid 9li of good and lawful money of England in manner and form following viz at
the feast of pentecost 1571
40s and so yearly during four years next coming at the said feast of pentecost 40s and at the feast of pentecost in the fifth year 20s for the full payment of the said 9li and if there shall be default in payment of the said sum of 9li or of any part thereof in manner and form aforesaid that then it may and shall be lawful for the foresaid
Robt Walshe
his heirs and assigns into the foresaid barn with appurtenances to reenter and the same to have again as in his former estate licence thereto being first had and obtained this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered in any wise notwithstanding whereupon to this court came the said
Rich Sigge
and according to the surrender aforesaid prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he made fine and fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
