fine 25sit is found by the homage that Edw Turner that held to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc one cottage with a garden adjoining and appurtenances called Clovyers as in the court roll here holden on monday being 11.4.17Eliz1 more at large appears out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Hen Pullen instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Robt Reade and Jn Parker the lord's customary tenants the same witnessing the foresaid cottage with the garden adjoining with the appurtenances to the use and behoof of Robt Carter the elder his heirs and assigns who being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
