it is found by the homage that Jn Birde out of court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Reade instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Parker the elder Thos Leffingwell and Robt Rooks the lord's customary tenants and other the same witnessing one croft of land called Pychards with appurtenances as it lieth in Colne aforesaid in the roll of the court here holden the 20.8.26Eliz1 more at large appeareth to the use and behoof of Jn Collen his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed himself to be admitted thereto and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services etc and he giveth fine and made fealty and so he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof
