fine 6s8dit is found in the court with the leet of the 6Edw6 that Xoph Ruffle and Eliz and Margt sisters of the same Xoph by virtue of the surrender of Jn Ruffle their father took to them and their heirs by copy one cottage called Carters sometime of Jn Carter and since of Wm Colley and lately of Jn Reynold holden by fealty suit of court and rent of 6d by the year and now it is found by the homage of this court that the foresaid Margt took to husband Jn Beckham and the foresaid Eliz took to husband Wm Armon and that the same Xoph Jn and Margt Wm and Eliz in due manner surrendered the foresaid cottage to the use and behoof of Wm Catte and his heirs who was admitted tenant thereof as appeareth by a copy thereof made at the court with the leet here holden in the 7Edw6 and that the said Wm Catte afterward and before this court surrendered the said cottage into the lord's hands by the hands of Hen Abbotte (may be Hen Abbotte) instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Churche and Robt Reade customary tenants of this manor the same witnessing to the use of Agnes Booner for term of eight years beginning from the time of the death of the said Wm and Mary his wife and the longer liver of them to hold by the services aforesaid and for such her estate she made fine with the lord and so is admitted etc
