whereas at the leet with the court here holden on wednesday being 8.8.18Eliz1 Xoph Hall and Kath his wife were admitted the lord's tenants to them and their heirs to a tenement with a curtilage adjoining with appurtenances called Greens Tenement in Colne aforesaid and also to one garden sometime parcel of the tenement called Jakes lying between the tenement late of Hen Pullen called Campions and the foresaid tenement called Jakes as by metes and bound it is divided and shown as by copy of the roll of the same court brought forth in court appeareth now the homage aforesaid present that the foresaid Kath died many years since and that the foresaid Xoph survived and held himself in the premises by right of accruing and had issue viz Frances of the age of 15years and afterwards the foresaid Xoph married Alice Freeman and had issue of the body of the said Alice Jn and Margt and afterwards the foresaid Xoph died of such estate seised and the foresaid Jn also died before he received any profits thereof or his admission thereunto and the jury know no whether the foresaid Frances had any right to the premises after the death of the said Jn or not and because it appeareth that the same Jn was not admitted nor entered on the premises nor took any profits thereof the lord by his steward aforesaid granted seisin of the premises to the foresaid Frances and Margt by Thos Pamelie their deputy to have and to hold to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor aforesaid by the rents services and customs therefore due and of right accustomed and they made fines and their fealties are respited until etc
