at a view with court here held thursday 20.8.26Eliz1 Jn Evans was admitted tenant was admitted tenant to himself and his heirs of the surrender of Jeff Little to two customary cottages with appurtenances late Rich Filbridge as shown by metes and bounds and is plainly divided and shown also to one parcel of land called The Millhill and to one garden called Lophams with appurtenances containing by estimation 1r more or less lying on a hill called Millhill as shown by metes and bounds and by copy of court roll now it appears to the homage aforesaid that after the last court and out of court the aforesaid Jn Evans surrendered all and singular the aforesaid lands and tenements with their appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of Edw Reade instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Reade and Robt Rookes two customary tenants of this manor the same witnessing according to the custom of the manor aforesaid to the use and work of Rich Evans and his heirs forever which Rich Evans present here in court is granted seisin of the premises to himself and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by rents and services and customs before due and of right accustomed and made fine and fealty and is admitted tenant
