of Earls Colne in the county of Essex yeoman being in health and in good and perfect remembrance thanks be given unto almighty god for the same do make and ordain this my last will and testament revoking all former wills and testaments whatsoever in manner and form following first I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty god my creator trusting assuredly through the merits and satisfaction of my lord and saviour jesus christ to have the full and free pardon of all my sins and to inherit eternal life and my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in decent sepulchre and for that part and portion of worldly goods where with it hath pleased the lord in mercy to bless me withal item I do give and bequeath unto my loving son
