Copyhold of Earldom - quitrent 4s Wm Phil Honywood 1.3.1849 surrender of Wm Jenkins to all that parcel of arable land called Great Mitchells - parcel of a certain farm and lands there called Great Mitchells or otherwise - with a small grove adjoining to the same on the north-west corner thereof containing together 12a33p (boundaries described in the rolls)

and also all that parcel of arable called Little Mitchells containing by estimation 6a2r22p together with a barn and shed standing thereon

This is the parcel of Mitchells Farm surrendered to J.N. Hunt by Sam Towle in 1812 - as described in the admission of Wm Phil Honywood esq on surrender of Wm Jenkins 1849 The other parcel of Mitchells was surrendered by Sam Towle to Jane Mackenzie now wife of Geo Mead in 1812 - see rent roll under that name page 128. The quitrent on the whole was 8s it was apportioned on the division 1812 in equal moieties
