Sketched from map and Terrier of 1598 no. 1 and 2 containing 3a3r12p are the two called Pett Crofts copyhold of Earldom Fo. 39 ( (423a) (360a) )

no. 4 and 5 Readings and Stoneards Garden free deed of the Earldom Fo. 19 containing 2a3r7p ( (360b) (360c) )

no. 3 is another croft called Pett Croft containing 1a32p ( (427) ) then held by Jeff Finch - Earls Colne which I purchased of Wm Tiffin Ruffle 1842 and sold to mr Honywood soon after his purchase of Johnson's property (the croft lying in the centre of this estate) when coming into the hands of the lord it ceased to be copyhold and was sold to mr Honywood as free - all the bound-lines of this property are altered since the Commutation map of 1836 and of course much more so since 1598
