and furthermore it is shown by the homage that Rich Kempe and Joan his wife after the last court and before this court viz 27.2.1632 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jas Nicolls instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Read and Jn Church two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor one parcel of land with appurtenances called Glasiers or by whatever other name it is called containing by estimation 2a2r more or less late of Wm Spriggs to the use and behoof of Jn Lucas gentleman and Mary his wife for their lifetimes and to the longer liver and after their decease to the use and behoof of Mary Lucas daughter of the said Jn and Mary and the daughters of Mary the daughter forever but because no one came to take the aforesaid parcel of land out of the hands of the lord therefore proclamation was made etc
