and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that Jn Church gentleman customary tenant of this manor for and in one messuage and adjoining garden with appurtenances called Sonnells for himself and his heirs according as it is clearly shown by the court roll dated 28.3.1627 after the last court and before this court viz on 24.4.1633 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Reade instead of the bailiff in the presence of Dan Lea and Barth Clarke two customary tenants of the said manor according to the custom of the said manor the said messuage and garden with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Frances Church his wife for the term of her life and after her decease to the use of Jn Church son of the said Jn and the heirs of the said Jn Church the son forever on condition that the said Jn Church father shall have and enjoy the use of the said messuage and other premises with appurtenances for the term of his life and after his death that then the said Frances shall have the said messuage and other premises for the term of her life and after her death that then the said Jn Church the son and his heirs shall have the messuage and other premises for ever and to the said Frances Church the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said messuage and other premises for the term of her life at the will of the said lord by the rents services etc owing and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord her fine and was admitted tenant
